Tygart Steel provides numerous steel products manufactured from steel plate. Our value added service (capabilities page) allows us to meet most steel requirements.

Steel Plate

• Prime plate up to 6” thickness. All grades available.
  
• Non-prime, secondary, or cobble plate up to 8” thickness. For specific applications, known chemistry available.
  
• Road, shoring or trench plate of all dimensions. Additional requirements such as champfer, lifting holes, or initializing can be provided on site.

Steel Coils

• Leveling line on site for cut to length pricing.
• 3/4” - 1-3/8” coil thickness up to 120” wide.
  

Counterweights

• Counterweight types include stacked weldments, sub assemblies, filler weights and simple profile burning.
• Products include welded counterweights, frame weight components, filler weight assemblies, stage weights, elevator weights and test carts.
• Industries served include crane, material handling, transportation, elevator and theatre.
